With the Audio 20 we deviated from naming the amplifier based on Travel and stuck with the common use of Studio.
This twin channel amplifier is ideal for reproducing the clean tones from 60’s and 70’s Britain.
Every studio has an American amplifier in its itinerary. But achieving the Plexi and Vox tones are not so common in one amp.
We have not copied these amps but rather enhanced that sound that is classic to that era and which is still sort after today.
Even the 20 Watt is loud enough for gigging but the 50 Watt will give you bags of head room, this is ideal to power your pedal board. The reason for our output choice is to maintain the authenticity of the EL84 output valve tone in the 20 Watt Plexi amp.
