Cornell Story
Andy first asked me to make him a small 5w amplifier with basic volume, tone and gain controls, this was at the time when guitarists want bigger and louder amplifier, so I was surprised.
We worked together on the design of the amplifier with the aim of the guitar and amplifier working with each other rather than just making guitar louder, it was (and still is) about tone with Andy.
He still uses this amp today in the studio and live and more recently asked me to make him a valve acoustic amplifier specifically to work with his Godin ukulele and after 'tweaks' we got a great acoustic sound.
Testimonial
"I have known Denis for some time and his dedication to his craft is amazing, he creates amplifiers that sound musical with great depth and tone"

"The acoustic (ukulele) amplifier he created is the only amplifier that truly sounds like an acoustic ukulele, a little excessive some might say, class A custom amplifier for ukulele but I apply the same ethos and values to all instruments and my sound.
