Cornell Story
Whilst Denis was working with Arbiters, he was approached by Lee Dickson (Eric Claptons guitar tech) with a letter from Eric asking for help with his tone/sound on his 3x12 Fender amplifiers. After working with him, Eric asked Denis to make him an amplifier based on the Fender 57 twin with Volume, Bass and Treble controls only and Tone Tubby speakers popular at the time). The resulting amplifier was the Cornell Custom 80 (2x12 combo).
